Equipment Available
Each student has their own personal Windows XP workstation loaded with the most current version of Adobe Photoshop and Elements editing software. In addition, each workstation has access to a wide assortment of Photoshop-compatible plug-in filters, database programs and presentation software for the students to use.
The four workstations are networked together so that they can share the various state-of-the-art Epson printers, Nikon film scanners and Polaroid Film Recorder. Each system is also equipped with a Wacom Tablet, backup data hard disk, media card readers, and CD/DVD burners.
The state-of-the-art Epson printers allow students to print everything from 4" x 6" prints to 24 inch wide panoramas. The students find that there is nothing more satisfying than seeing their final photographic efforts come off the printer.
Final work projects, newly documented techniques, and edited images will be burned to CD or DVD, so that students can continue to review their progress once they return home.
